Becoming a parent is one of the largest role changes a person goes through, and it starts well before the birth. Expectant parents are already renegotiating work, money, relationships and their own sense of who they are about to be. New parents are doing all of that while running on interrupted sleep.
Most of what people bring me here is not dramatic. It is the accumulation. The gap between how you thought this would feel and how it actually feels. Resentment that arrives uninvited and then gets judged. The person you used to be, still in there somewhere, waiting for a turn.
Walking suits this stage. There is no waiting room, no sitting still under a clock, and the format tends to make hard sentences easier to start. If a week is impossible, the session moves to video rather than disappearing.
Where the work involves you and your child together, the 90 min In-Home session exists for exactly that. Ninety minutes, in your own home, for parent/child and family sessions alongside the individual work.
“You bring that ungh I don't want to do 'X' thing. Together, we find the roots of those feelings, separate the good roots from the weeds, and replant parts of your inner garden.”

Questions
Practical things worth knowing
Can I come while I'm still pregnant?
Yes. Plenty of people start before the birth, when there is more room to think than there will be afterward.
What is the 90 min In-Home session?
A ninety-minute parent/child or family session in your own home, $300 per session. It sits alongside individual walking and telehealth work rather than replacing it.
What if walking isn't realistic right now?
Then we meet by video. Telehealth is available anywhere in California and most people move between the two depending on the week.
